Medical Director
Dr. Brian Mika
I believe in being a catalyst for healing. People often come to me in their darkest moments, and I am committed to providing the care they need.
As an experienced mental health specialist, I focus on educating my patients and their families. I take the time to fully address the mind, body, and spirit. I am an Adult Boarded Psychiatrist, having earned my medical degree from the University of Illinois (Chicago) and completed my residency at Brown University.
For the past 14 years, I have served as Medical Director of Piedmont Medical Center’s Psychiatry Department while also managing my outpatient clinic. My expertise includes, but is not limited to, trauma, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, complex medical-psychiatric conditions, anxiety, substance abuse, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I would be honored to support you on your mental health journey.

I trained at the Medical College of South Carolina and currently own and operate Providence Behavioral Health. Now, as part of Continuum Health’s mental health specialist team, I am proud to continue serving the community.
Whether a patient is 5 years old or 65 years old, I use my expertise to provide the best possible care. I have experience treating bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, panic disorders, substance abuse, Asperger’s, autism, and schizophrenia. I welcome the opportunity to help those in need of quality mental health care.
