Your Questions, Answered
What kind of clients do you see?
We work with children, teens, adults, and families. Whether you’re navigating emotional or behavioral challenges or striving for peak performance in school, work, or sports, our expert team is here to support you.
What services do you offer?
We provide:
- Psychiatric assessments and follow-ups
- Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs (IOP & PHP) for adolescents and adults
- Individual, group, couples, and family therapy
- Coaching and consultations for parents and caregivers
- Speaking engagements on mental health topics
Do you accept insurance?
We are in-network with BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, TRICARE, and United Healthcare. We’re out-of-network with most other providers. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. We provide a Super Bill, which you can submit for potential reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to see what is covered.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes! We offer telehealth sessions for many of our services, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home.
What makes Continuum Health Providers different?
We’ve created a space that feels warm, welcoming, and engaging. From our supportive team to our inviting environment—complete with movies, video games, puzzles, and more—we want every visit to feel comfortable. Many clients even arrive early just to enjoy the space!
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first appointment includes a comprehensive assessment where we’ll discuss your needs, goals, and treatment options. Our team is here to answer any questions and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
How long does treatment last?
Every journey is unique. Some clients benefit from short-term support, while others engage in long-term care. We’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your needs.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple! Just complete our New Client Intake Form, and one of our friendly intake coordinators will reach out to schedule your first appointment. You can also give us a call at 803-233-3236, and we’ll be happy to assist you. Our team is committed to providing prompt responses, so you can expect to hear back from us shortly!
How does psychiatric and educational testing work?
To begin, follow the steps outlined in “How do I get started?”—complete the intake form or call us. Your journey starts with a one-hour initial session, where we’ll discuss background details and areas of concern to determine the right tests. For minors, this session is for parents or guardians only. Testing fees are based on the evaluation required, and our team is happy to answer any questions about the process and costs.
What does it mean to be an out-of-network provider?
Continuum Health Providers is not contracted with insurance carriers, but many health plans offer out-of-network benefits, allowing you to receive care from providers outside your network. This means you may be eligible for reimbursement, though coverage varies by plan. Payment is due in full at the time of service, and we’ll gladly submit claims to your insurance on your behalf. Since you are paying upfront, any reimbursement will go directly to you, the policyholder. We encourage you to check with your insurance carrier for details on your specific coverage.
You’re Not Alone—We’re Here for You
No matter where you are in your journey, we’ll meet you there. A simple conversation can be the first step toward feeling better.
